I'm getting ready to go away on a trip to Florida via Chicago for 2 nights. I'm looking forward to seeing the sites in Chicago and I will be seeing my parents. And they are getting me their car which is a 1999 Lincoln town.

12:05 pm - Starting HRT!
I am finally able to start on HRT. They are starting out with:
2mg Progynova 1once daily
50mg Spironoalctone 25mg morning 25mg Evening.
I ordered the prescription and I will have to wait a week or two for it to arrive.
So life goes on finally. I still have a long way to go.

I wrote this poem about a friend who hasn't talked to me since I told him about being transgendered.

I bought a Braun Silk*Epil EverSoft Deluxe 2710 today at a local store. It seems to do a reasonably good job but there is an amount of pain. However I think it will sure beat wax because I made a terrible mess the first (and last) time I did it. I'll write more when I fully do my legs. at $50 it was at least worth a try.

I gave a card to my best friend at work Thanking her for her support & encouragment of me. She was really moved and gave me a hug. She has been giving me advice on how to be more ladylike but not as to attact stares.
I am doing better than I did this morning. I had an email from a friend telling me to slow down and take more time. I don't think he understands I am taking this at a pace and not all at once. I let him know I am sticking to my plan but I am still starting out on the road to my new life. I think he got a bit anxious that I sent him an email addressed and signed by "Misa"
